The art of having a guest on your show is more complicated than it sounds. People think that you just shoot someone an email,set up a date and time and go. I can tell you first hand that it is not that simple. Besides the obvious challenges of dealing with two peoples busy schedules, you have to find someone that wants to be a a guest or for that matter can be one. Some people do better on their own show and have no desire to be a guest, others don't know how to navigate through the conversation or get stuck.
I will sat this though, when you have a guest on that you click with, treasure that moment and that show. Because you have found a moment that you might not be able to get again.
